| Posted: 19 Jul 2009 03:23 PM PDT Oh hell I don't know. When it comes to guessing who is who in Naruto that just makes my brain hurt. Whether or not Tobi = Madara = Danzou = Whoever, to me it is up in the air. I would like to subject them to DNA tests for Christ's sake. I mean, I fall back to the thing I thought first when I got in this damn manga. It is about Ninjas, deception is the name of the game. Half the time we're being tricked in this story so when it comes to speculation, conjecture, theory, it's all about fun in the end I guess. I do think in the end there will be many huge plot twists, some more enormous than others. Do I think Tobi could be Danzo? Sure, anything is pretty much possible. There are things that are more plausible, some not necessarily sane ideas though that are practical. When it comes to the theory here presented I go with something I saw in the movie "The Prestige". Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman go to see a small hobbling Asian magician do his magic tricks in order to guess how he did them. Hugh was baffled, but Christian spotted it dead on. At the end of the show the two men are standing outside of the theater talking when the magician walks out hobbling up to the carriage. Christian exlaims "that is it, that is his trick" Hugh was baffled. His trick wasn't what he did on the stage, it was how he lived his life. He wasn't a brokend down old man at all. He was very strong and agile. He pretended to be broken down and stiff to fool everyone. He lived his life to sell the illusion in his show. Is it possible thinking that way that Tobi could actually be Danzou, sure of course. But Tobi could be anyone until you see his face and even then who knows. It is all a big trick on us till it is all spelled in bold letters I suppose. When you think about it Kakashi received an eye so it isn't too much of a stretch to think Danzou got one as well. His being crippled could be just an illusion to fool everyone. Whether or not it is fact or fiction is irrelevant, it's just entertaining. Some theories can be quite baseless and just plain don't make sense. Some can be completely sensical although too improbable. To me really if there is a chance in hell it could be accurate and it is entertaining, then the poster did their part and made my day less lame. I'm good enough with that! That is why I don't give people crap for their posts much unless they are beating you over the head with stuff that just plain makes no sense and can't be even entertained as a possibility.

| Posted: 19 Jul 2009 03:18 PM PDT Well i have been doing alot of research about several things on Naruto one of my recent claims, was Danzo, in that thread i used jappanese myths to confirm that Danzo is possibly Tobi. You should check that out. Now i have been checking things out on Zestu, as we all know he is a mysterious character, and basically one of the most intriging characters in naruto. Now that I have felt that i have disproven the Tobi=Obito theory, which many people thought was an absolute lock. But my senses lead me to believe that Obito is still alive. Now i am going to try to prove that Zetsu is in fact obito, or just the left side of Zetsu. -As we all know that Zetsu is a missing nin said to be from the Village hidden in the grass - We also know that obito is said to have died in the land of the grass, where he kakashi and Rin have been fighting hidden rock village ninjas -Zetsu seems to have two personalities, the white half of his face speaks only in Katakana (which could indicate a robotic voice) while the black side uses Kanji and Kana - We must remember that obitos right side was crushed by the rocks, so then the left side should be obito if not whole. -Also zetsu has a type kekki genkai, but it does not look the sharingan but more like the byakugan. My way of explaining this would possibly due to the fact, he would have to be implemented with two new eyes due to the fact one eye was crused the other given to kakashi, and the uchiha blood running through obitos blood gives him a new type of kekki genkai, the one zetsu posses. This theory is just a beggining point i plan to add more facts and possibly jappanese myths that pertain to this to make seem more liable, to support my cause because i truly believe this explains Zetsu's characteristics.

Most of us know that kishimoto uses alot of japanese mythology and folktales in his creating of characters in Naruto. such as the creation of Jiraya, tsunade and Orachimaru, they came from the japanese folktale Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari Little basic info on the Naruto Danzo: If you want to know about Danzo check out : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_of_Fire Now info on the Danzo of jappanese folktale: Kato Danzo  Very little are known about the legendary ninja. It is said that Danzo was a master of illusion. For example, a historical document says that he swallowed a bull in front of more than 20 people. But another ninja was seeing it and said "never cheated, he is only riding on the bull's back," then people noticed that it was an illusion. Today, researchers think his illusion as a type of group-hypnosis. In fact, ninja were studying psychology very well, so it was not strange that very skilled hypnotist were among them. Historical documents say that Danzo wanted to serve to Uesugi Kenshin . But his art of illusion was so dreadful that Kenshin decided not to hire but to kill him. Kenshin ordered him to intrude a house, and placed many guardsmen in and around the house. Danzo , however, noticed the deception, and throw his Shinobi Shouzoku (the black costume of ninja) tied with a rope over the hedge into the garden instead of himself. The guardsmen fired arrows to the dummy, then he pull back the rope. They believed that Danzo turned in the air to jump back to the hedge. After that, he was called Tobi Kato , meaning "flying Kato ." The story tells that a competent ninja cannot be always loved his master. He was, after all, too competent My deduction of this leads me to believe that kishimoto is using the mythical Danzo as the basis for Danzo in Naruto. Danzo is possibly highly skilled in genjustu But my main point of all this is that Tobi is in fact Danzo, i believe the evidence speaks for itself, Danzo his true name, then being named Tobi is factual evidence kishimoto, is planning to make Tobi, Danzo. Also in the myth it refers to the black costume ninja, the first time we see Tobi he is dressed up in all black (ch280 the last page)and it is not the akatsuki cloak. Also the fact that Tobi was introduced ch 280, and Danzo ch 281 might hold some significance that they have a correlation that Kishimoto has come up with. SInce they are introduced basically at the same time. Take a look at these two pics:    notice the eye that tobi has is different then Danzos, shear coincidence that the bandage part is tobis eye; could their be something under the bandages?

Kakashi: "Naruto?" Naruto: "No. The defenses along the walls are heavily guarded as well. There is no easy way in. Kakashi: "....." Naruto: "I think we have no other choice. All the kages have arrived and the cloud ninjas are in there as well. We must get in there before it is too late." Kakashi: "Patience naruto. Im sure we will find a way in." Yamoto: "I can't see any way in sempai without violence. We are running out of options." Naruto: "I have had enough of waiting. The time to act is now!" Kakashi: "Naruto. No!" Naruto walks out of the forest and directly to the guards at the wall. The guards immediately draw their weapons and look at naruto with angered expression. Guard1: "Halt! Who goes there?! State your name and village!" Guard2: "Raise the alarm immediately! Guards!" Naruto: "Take it easy. I am here to speak to Raikage of the cloud village." Bells begin to ring and the door opens to reveal more guards and Mifune. The guards on the walls above activate crossbows aimed downward on naruto. Mifune: "Access to this village is restricted during the Kages conference. Leave this place immediately." Naruto looks determined with angered expression. Naruto: "I can't do that. I am here to speak to Raikage." Mifune looks a little angered and stares directly at naruto. The guards notice movement in the forest and some aim crossbows at the forest. Sasuke and his group are watching the same entrance from high in the trees. Sasuke: "Karin are you sure there is no way in." Karin: "There are no birds in the area. The rest of the animals around here are likely to be noticed. I can't get any intel on what is inside." Suigetsu: "Why don't we just attack our way in. These guards are easily distracted right now by that boy down there." Sasuke looks closer at the boy and starts to smile. Sasuke: "Our best option is to wait now. A way will be opened for us to enter shortly." Karin, Juugo, and Suigetsu stare at sasuke then stare at naruto. Mifune now has an angry expression and naruto looks at him with the same expression. Mifune: "You test my patience boy. Go home to your village and leave immediately." Naruto: "I will not leave." Mifune: "If you will not leave you will be arrested and locked in the prison. For the last time, leave now!" Garaa suddenly pushes his way past the guards and right next to Mifune. Garaa looks over and is shocked to see naruto and naruto likewise shocked to see garaa. Garaa whispers something into mifune's ear and suddenly mifune goes from serious to horrified. Mifune starts to sweat as he looks at naruto. Mifune: "It would appear I may have made a grave mistake. For the record what is your name boy?" Naruto: "Naruto Uzuimaki" The guards suddenly start looking at each other with shocked expression and murmuring to each other. Mifune looks at naruto with a sceptical look but still sweating. Mifune: "Word of your battle with akatsuki and your defeat of the destroyer of konoha has reached even the people of this village. If you are whom you say you are than I have a challenge to prove whom you say you are." Naruto: "Explain." Mifune points to the side of the rock wall. Mifune is now smiling nervously while looking at naruto. Mifune: "Rumors have claimed that in your battle with the destroyer of konoha that you used abilities that had not been seen since days of the sanin. If you are whom you say you are than show us a demonstration of your strength and endurance. If you are naruto, show us your true capabilities and punch that wall. No ninja techniques allowed. Just punch that wall." Naruto: "If that will get me and my companions in then so be it." Mifune: "Companions? Alright." Naruto stands near the wall. He spreads his arms and naruto enters sage mode. Naruto slams his fist hard into the wall. Slowly it begins to shatter as naruto's arm passes into the wall causing not only a large hole in the wall but also causing the wall around it to violently crack to pieces as naruto moves back his hand. Kakashi, Yamoto, Mifune, Garaa, and Suigetsu are all shown with shocked expressions. Naruto: "Is that enough or shall I make another hole?" Mifune is now terrified and motions for the guards to depart immediately. The guards are stunned but then then they move asside. Naruto looks back through the forest to kakashi and yamoto. Naruto: "Kakashi! Yamoto! Now we may come in." Kakashi and Yamoto appear from out of the woods. Kakashi smiles at naruto. Kakashi: "Nice work naruto." Naruto, kakashi, and yamoto head into the village with mifune while the original guards standing at the door with one taking a glance occasionally at the hole in the wall. Sasuke is watching the guards and looking at the hole in the wall. Suigetsu: "Who the hell was that?!" Karin: "From what I can tell of that conversation that was the one that defeated pain." Sasuke: "Naruto." Suigetsu, Karin, and Juugo look at sasuke. Suigetsu: "If that was naruto, who were the other two ninja that came with them?" Sasuke: "Kakashi and Yamoto." Karin: "Kakashi the copy ninja?!" Suigetsu: "You guys can gave naruto. I want my shot at kakashi." Karin: "All that doesn't matter cause we still can't get in." Sasuke: "No but we can use that to get some thing into the village to get intel." Sasuke points at the hole in the wall and the others turn to stare at the hole in the wall. Naruto, Garaa, and Kakashi are walking through a hallway with several doors on Garaa: "That was quite a demonstration of skill there. You seem to have become a lot stronger since we last met." Naruto: "It is nice to see you again to Garaa. What room is the Raikage in. I must speak to him immediately." Kakashi: "You really should be more discrete and respectful naruto. The kages will not be as likely to take that kind of brovado lightly." Naruto: "It was necessary and the only way to get in. At least no real violence was necessary." Kakashi: "...." There is a sound of crashing down the hall. Karui runs out a door followed by Omoi and Samui who slams the door shut. Karui looks down the hall and is shocked to see Naruto walking towards them. Karui: "What the?! You! How did you heal so fast?! I could swear you would be in the hospital for a while after that." Omoi: "Naruto? How did you get into here?" Samui: "It is good that you are here. Raikage just gave us explicit orders to find you immediately. It seems your info was a lot more important than I anticipated. You better come with me immediately. It is time you met Raikage." Samui opens the door and beckons for naruto to come in with her. Naruto follows her in to the room and she closes the door. Kakashi: "Garaa if you do not mind I will wait out here until naruto is done with Raikage." Garaa: "Ok. I will see you at the meeting later. It was nice meeting you and naruto again. Cya later kakashi." Omoi and Karui are staring at kakashi with curious expressions as kakashi stands against the wall. Torune is shown standing down the way looking at kakashi with an nervous expression. Torune thinking: "Danzo is not gonna be happy about this.
