Trichinopoly Pinjrapole

GoShala or GauShala, a Sanskrit word, means the adobe or sancturay for the cows and its progeny as calves and oxen. (In Sanskrit, Go or Gau means Cow, Shala means a sanctuary).

The Trichinopoly Pinjrapole (or Gaushala) is the sanctuary or the abode for old, sick, abandoned and stray animals, especially cows and its progeny.

The Trichinopoly Pinjrapole is run in the city of Trichy (located in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu) and an effort to care for these kind, innocent, gentle and lovely animals, that today are the victims.

Currently we have 206* animals - including cows giving milk(25) , dry cows(86), bulls(19), He-calf(27) , she-calf(48) and buffaloes(1)

Faciliites

Clean water and enviorment

Goals

To rescue stray, abandoned, and neglected cows, bring about their recovery as healthy, well-treated companions, and to promote such care and compassion.
Expanding our enterprise. In both aspects of our goals, premier cow protection, milk production, utilization of cow power (gober methane gas), self-sufficiency, and to be an inspiration to all good-natured souls are what we strive for.
To provide the best possible care and attention given to cows prior to being taken to a shelter home and veterinary centre.

WHICH ANIMALS DO WE RESCUE AND WHY??

We save animals from slaughter houses and there are many people over here who care for them i.e. by donating and feeding these animals whenever they like and thus this has become a big trust..Most of the animals here are rescued from slaughter houses where these animals are treated like hell...Some of the images of how the animals are treated in slaughter houses are given below:-

My views on why these animals should be saved from these guys who are spreading inhumanity over the world just for the sake of taste and some articles like leather are:-

Animals are not ours to eat
Animals are not ours to wear,
Animals are not ours to experiment on.
Animals are not ours to use for entertainment.
